The Wastewater Division maintains the City sewer system using state-of-the-art equipment to inspect and flush pipes, pump and treat wastewater while meeting SCDHEC parameters before returning it back to the river. Preventive maintenance also includes inflow and infiltration control. The division provides for the operation and maintenance of the Tosch Wastewater Treatment Plant, fourteen (14) Pumping Stations and 105 miles of Wastewater Collector system.

Our Wastewater Division consists of five (5) employees: a Wastewater Plant Supervisor, and four (4) full-time Wastewater Plant Operators.
